Scientists have developed a technique to improve the efficiency of the organic matter which make blue oled's possible by a quarter. With this invention the scientists have conquered a huge roadblock in the production of oleds.

During a meeting of the American Chemical Society the scientists of the Pacific Notrthwest National Laboratory held a number of presentations in which they unveal their methods for producing blue organic leds with a much greater efficiency. The biggest problem with the production of oled's is to obtain the organic matter needed to create the blue colored leds. Red and green are both relatively easy to produce but the blue however quickly loses it's efficiency and luminosity. The scientists, under the command of 'Asanga Padmaperuma' have come up with a material that drastically improves the efficiency of blue organic diodes.

Tests show this material improves the luminosity of the oled's by at least 25 percent. They used 'organometallical' fosfor dotted oleds which according to the scientists managed to reach an internal quantumefficiency of near a 100 percent. With the improved organic lightdiodes the scientists hope to have found the perfect replacement for the good'ol lightbulb. Oled's are way more efficient than lightbulbs and last longer as well.
