Release date Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 announced

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be in stores on the 10th of November. Modern Warfare 2 is the successor of the succesfull Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which sold over 12 million copies worldwide.

Besides the release date Activision hasn't spoken many words about their latest Call of Duty production. They did however release a website containing a 'teaser' movie. Visitors can analyse the movie in search for clues on what this new episode of the succesfull game series is all about. Although the carrying platforms for Modern Warfare 2 are not yet official we can easily guess there will be a release for all major consoles so that would be X-box 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

"The developmentteam is superfocust, we want this to become our most spectacular game ever. Every small detail is our major concirn and we will make sure it won't lack on any finishing touches, making Modern Warfare 2 the best game we've ever produced. We can't wait till it's November 10th and our fans can enjoy the fruits of our labour", is what Infinity Ward-director Vince Zampella said in a statement released last thursday.
