According to The New York Times provider T-Mobile has plans to release a dect-phone and a tablet PC for the US market based on the Android operating system by Google. The source came from documents of one of T-Mobiles partner companies.

According to The New York Times the new Android-products by T-Mobile should arrive either at the end of this year or early next year. The newspaper claims to have obtained this information from internal documents of one of T-Mobiles partner companies.
Aside from a dect-phone T-Mobile wants to release a tablet with a 7" screen. The Tablet would run on Google's mobile OS Android which T-Mobile used for their by HTC produced smartphone G1 earlier. However it's unknown who the manufacturer of this device will be. A T-Mobile spokesman only confirmed that they will release products based on the Android operating system but won't tell what sort of products to expect.
