Ubisoft stops Ubidays event

Publisher Ubisoft this year Ubidays event organizing. The publisher revealed in recent years latest games at their own event, but choose this year for a stronger presence in the major international fairs.
"With the E3 in the United States, the Gamescom in Cologne and the Tokyo Games Show in Japan, we have enough venues to show off our creativity and innovations," said a spokesman for the French publisher at MCV. The Ubidays event was held annually in Paris and attracted over a thousand journalists and other professionals in the gaming industry. In 2008 the event took place in the Louvre.
The change of Ubisoft lagely depends on the changing structure of the Electronic Entertainment Expo. The last years E3 was small in scope, but returns this year in its old form. This means that there will be more media than the past years. There is much international press expected that the event will be less addressed to the United States and more to the world in general. Not only Ubisoft made such a decision, other publishers such as THQ and Sega also decided to focus on the E3, rather than on their own events
