Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that first person shooter game Killzone 2 will receive two new multiplayer maps. The expansion for this dutch PlayStation 3 game will be available as a free download from the 30th of April.

The expansion pack for Killzone 2 will go by the name 'Steel & Titanium Pack'. The downloadable content consists of two new levels for the Warzone mode, where up to 32 players can fight against each other directly, the playgrounds are Wasteland Bullet and Vekta Cruiser. The package will be available from April 30th in the PlayStation Store and is offered as a free to download, according to an announcement Sony Computer Entertainment made Friday.
Bullet Wasteland takes place on a train that connects the city Pyrrhus with The Wasteland. Because the train is continuously driving at high speed, the players must take into account the fact that the train regularly passes objects: a collision with one of these means a certain death. Vekta Cruiser is in this respect a less dangerous environment, but because the action totally takes place on board a spaceship, the rooms are small and there are many places where enemies could be hiding.
