In the United States T-Mobile, has sold more than one million copies of its G1 Android phone in the last six months. Thus, the sales are still significantly behind that of Apple's iPhone 3G smartphone.

This is the first time that the data provider for the sale of the first Android device is known. The G1 seems less than Apple's smartphone sales to the U.S. provider AT & T sold in the last six months, about 3.5 million iPhones. T-Mobile, despite the sales of the G1 the usefulness of investment in its U.S. 3G network to show and said that the expansion of capacity continues to invest.

It is unclear how the sale of the G1 in the Netherlands is. During the advance would be a few thousand copies, but then there are no sales of the Android phone more to come outside.

The T-Mobile G1, also known as HTC Dream, the first smartphone with Google's mobile OS Android. When the second Android device in the Dutch stores is still unclear. Vodafone is still on the plain about a possible release of the HTC Magic, but LG, Sony Ericsson, Motorola and Samsung would this year launch Android phones.
